Some Highlights from Past Years 2010 Friday October 22nd: Liz Pahl and the Pahlbearers will be opening up for the Joey Hebdo Band at Jackie O's in Athens, Ohio. Show starts at 10pm. See you there!!
Saturday August 21st: Be sure to catch Liz at the 12th Annual Athens Community Music Festival in Athens Ohio, Saturday August 21st. There will be two sets: The first set is at 5pm at the Donkey (solo) and the second set will be with the Pahlbearers at Jackie O's Public House at 7pm
Friday September 19th: Liz and the full band, The Pahlbearers are playing this year's Paw Paw fest on Friday September 19, 2010. They are adding a new night, and we are opening up the festivities! Find out more information about the PawPaw Fest at www.ohiopawpawfest.com.
Thursday January 7th: Liz will play a short solo set at 10pm at Casa Cantina in Athens, Ohio. Artist Kasey Jones will be having her art opening this night, and asked some folks to play some music. Fun will be had by all!
Tuesday January 19th: Liz will go in the studio to interview with Ryan Janson at WOUB in Athens, Ohio. Expect some acoustic tunes. Tune into 1340 AM, or listen at www.woub.org. More info soon!
Friday, January 29th: Liz will be a part of "Three Girls and Guitars" featuring Colleen Carow and Leah Nairn at the Donkey Coffee in Athens, Ohio. Show starts at 9pm. We will be opening up for Broken Ring.
Thursday, March 4th: Liz has been chosen to present three songs at the 2nd Annual Women of Appalachia Conference held in Athens, Ohio. Liz will be performing during an event called "Women Speak" from 6pm-9pm at the Women's Center in Baker University Center. For more information check out www.womenofappalachia.net/
Saturday, April 17th: The 2nd Annual Bob Dylan Tribute Night will be held at Casa Cantina. This is a benefit concert for the March of Dimes, and a local family who has struggled with a recent pre-mature birth. The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Bands included on the bill so far: Liz Pahl & the Pahlbearers Duke Jr. & the Smokey Boots More TBA!!!!
2009 Athens Community Music Festival on August 15th, 2009! The Pahlbearers at Jackie O's at 10:00pm. Electric M. Knuckle: Songs of Shocking Blue. This amazing band comprised of local celebs Scott Winland, Seth Riddlebarger, Bernie Nau, Brandon Robinson and Liz Pahl cover some great songs by this swedish band. August 13th at The Union with Audacity and the Athens Community Music Festival at the Union (time TBD). The Pahlbearers: August 28th at Casa Cantina, 10pm.
